What We Believe

We believe in one true and living God, eternally existing and revealed to us as the Father, creator of all things; the Son, Jesus Christ, God incarnate; and the Holy Spirit.

We believe the Holy Scriptures are the inspired revelation of God’s will without error upon which we base our faith, conduct, and doctrine.

We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, death for our sins, bodily resurrection, ascension unto God and imminent return in power and glory.

We believe that Jesus died so that we might live and that salvation is a free gift from God that is obtained solely through faith in His saving grace.

We believe in the celebration of the Lord’s Supper as a remembrance of what Jesus did for us on the cross.

We believe in water baptism as a public declaration that a believer has died with Christ and risen with Him to walk a life of holiness and love.

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, evidenced by speaking in tongues, and by the manifestation of spiritual power.

We believe in the ministry and indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

We believe in the unity of all true believers as members of the universal body of Christ regardless of denominational affiliation.

We believe in the manifestation of the supernatural gifts of the Spirit as listed in 1 Corinthians 12:8-10.

We believe that every believer should be continually growing in a deeper personal relationship with Christ and continually striving to be conformed to His image, by renewing the mind through the reading and obeying of the Word of God and yielding to the counsel of the Holy Spirit.
